Donations to Ishwar Charitable Trust are deductible under Section 80G (1)(ii) of the Income Tax Act, 1961. Donation to the Trust are covered under Section 80G (5) as Ishwar Charitable Trust is an Institution referred in sub-clause (iv) of clause (a) of sub- Section (2) of Section 80G of Income Tax Act,1961. Accordingly, all Assessee(s) as defined under Section 2 (7) of Income Tax Act, 1961 are entitled to a deduction equal to Fifty percent (50%) of the aggregate of sums paid by them to Ishwar Charitable Trust.

All Donations in excess of INR 10,000/- are received by Ishwar Charitable Trust by an Account payee Cheque/ Demand Draft/ RTGS/ NEFT in favor of ‘Ishwar Charitable Trust’.

Ishwar Charitable Trust is an Institution approved under Section 35AC of Income Tax Act, 1961 by the National Committee constituted by the Central Government vide Letter No.20/2013/f. No. V.27015/2/2013-SO (NAT.COM).

Accordingly, all Assessee(s) having income chargeable under the head ‘Profit and Gains of Business or Profession’ shall be entitled to a deduction on any amount given by them to the Ishwar Charitable Trust for the Camps, Outreach and Surgeries of Ophthalmic patients at Ishwar Charitable Trust, Sector 26, Noida, Gautam Budh Nagar.
